The heads of state discussed the final phase of preparations for the Russia — EU summit which will be held 14 November 2008 in Nice, France.
In connection with the upcoming G-20 summit in Washington on November 15, both sides highlighted the importance of correlating their positions with a view to devising effective measures to resolve the global financial crisis and stabilise the economic situation.
