The message reads, in part:
“Our country’s law enforcement agencies have many glorious and heroic pages in their history. We pay tribute to the veterans’ courage, steadfast spirit and highest professionalism, and honour those who today worthily continue the Interior Ministry’s fine traditions, reliably protect our citizens’ rights, fight terrorism, extremism and xenophobia, hold in high esteem the concept of their uniform’s honour, and serve our country’s and people’s interests.
Today, you are facing major challenges in keeping with the demands of the times. The public places high demands on your work and expects you to produce substantial results in countering crime, corruption and other security threats, and hopes that your work will become more and more open and effective.”
