Mr Medvedev and Mrs Merkel exchanged views on various aspects of preparations for the G-20 summit that will take place in Washington on November 15 to look for collective solutions for overcoming the world financial crisis.
Mr Medvedev and Mrs Merkel noted the importance of coordinating positions as the summit draws near and agreed to continue contacts at expert level in this area.
