Vladimir Putin met at his Novo-Ogaryovo residence outside Moscow with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, who is in Russia on a brief working visit.
In the course of the meeting, the Russian President and the Hungarian Prime Minister discussed, among other things, the state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, and ways of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economy, energy and the humanitarian sphere.
Following the talks, Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban witnessed the signing of a number of documents, including an intergovernmental agreement for cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear power.
Also, the Russian President and Hungarian Prime Minister made press statements.
