The President instructed Prosecutor General Yury Chaika and Chairman of the Prosecutor General’s Office’s Investigations Committee to take personal control of the investigation into the attack on President of the Samara Regional Court Lyubov Drozdova.
Mr Medvedev asked for urgent measures to be taken to investigate this crime and said that crimes of this kind undermine the country’s foundations.
Mrs Drozdova was attacked on the morning of November 25 and suffered a serious gunshot wound.
