One of the main tasks of the Russian authorities and business is to create a system to facilitate innovation, said the President of Russia in his speech at the forum.

Dmitry Medvedev considers it necessary to establish a system for seeking out talented young people and creating conditions whereby Russian discoveries, inventions, and technological development can be patented and registered in Russia.

The Youth Innovation Convention, organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Policy and the Federal Youth Agency with the support of the United Russia party, brought together more than a thousand young professionals who have made significant contributions to science and the high-tech sectors of the Russian economy.
