President Vladimir Putin and Polish President Alexander Kwasniewski held a one-to-one meeting and visited the Polish Proposals for Russia exhibition

The exhibition was sited in the grounds of the International Poznan Fair, which is a standing exhibition of the Polish building industry and its enterprises.

President Putin showed interest in different Polish products, in particular in building equipment, tractors and other machinery. The operation of a furniture factory and a chemical plant was described to him. Mr Kwasniewski commented for President Putin.

The same day, Mr Putin and Mr Kwasniewski held a news conference.

On their way to the airport, the two Presidents made a stopover in one of the city’s central squares to chat with residents.

The Presidents walked over to a monument to the Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz and also inspected a memorial dedicated to the history of Poznan.
