On Sobornaya Square the Russian President told the guests about the Kremlin’s history and its main landmarks.
During the walk the Russian and US leaders were approached by a group of schoolchildren on a sightseeing tour. The heads of state had a friendly talk with the children and posed for pictures with them.
President Putin then showed President George Bush his Kremlin residence. The Presidents looked at several meeting rooms and spent some time in the Russian President’s study.
