Vladimir Putin described Armenia as Russia’s priority partner in the political, humanitarian and defence spheres and expressed satisfaction with the situation around the Russian military base at Gyumri (Armenia).
The two leaders also discussed practical aspects of interaction in the trade, economic and financial fields. One item discussed was Yerevan’s proposals regarding the possible participation of Russian economic entities in the activities of some Armenian enterprises, notably in the defence and power industries.
