The President told the Emergencies Minister to immediately leave for the south of Russia and personally supervise repair works in the Stavropol Region, Karachayevo-Circassia, North Ossetia, Ingushetia and other regions which suffered from the disaster.
Mr Putin told Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Anatoly Kvashnin to take all measures possible to provide help and conduct repair works in southern regions of Russia that suffered from the flooding.
