The new authority will be engaged in the development and implementation of public policy in the area of the production and sale of methylated spirit, alcohol, and alcoholic products, control over the production and sale of such products, and also in the legislative regulation, supervision, and provision of services in this area.
The activities of the Federal Service for the Regulation of the Alcohol Market will be carried out under the leadership of the Government of the Russian Federation.
