“The Asia-Europe meetings are beginning to play a greater role in international relations, promoting inter-regional ties. Russia is observing with interest the development of the multi-faceted Asia-Europe cooperation.
“Russia is a major Eurasian country that is fighting terrorism on the fore front and is actively cooperating in this area with its partners on the two continents. Therefore, Russia sees it is only natural to join the Asia-Europe Meeting, which would promote the dialogue between Asia and Europe.
“We wish every success to the 4th Asia-Europe Meeting, as well as peace and prosperity to the states and participants in the meeting.”
