President Putin and President Kuchma expressed support for cooperation between the two countries’ aircraft plants. They approved an initiative to set up task groups in Russia and Ukraine to draft proposals on cooperation in the aerospace industry.
The highlight of the conversation was that the Presidents agreed to hold a meeting with representatives of the two countries’ aircraft factories at Moscow’s Salyut plant.
