Mr Putin told journalists that Russia would not rule out any solutions, including additional UN Security Council resolutions on Iraq. The Russian leader agreed that the previous negative experience of international inspectors in Iraq be taken into account.
President Putin also stressed that there was no need to pass additional Security Council resolutions on Iraq, and that Russia lacked authentic proof that Baghdad had weapons of mass destruction.
