President Vladimir Putin met with heads of law enforcement agencies

The meeting was attended by Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov, Interior Minister Boris Gryzlov, Federal Security Service First Deputy Director Vladimir Pronichev, and Supreme Court Chairman Vyacheslav Lebedev.

Mr Putin said the assassination of Magadan Regional Governor Vladimir Tsvetkov was a crime against the Russian state.

Participants in the meeting told the President about the course of the investigation. Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov said that an expert team would urgently be sent to the Magadan Region to follow certain leads.
