Igor Yusupov reported the results of the fuel and energy sector in the first nine months of the current year.
Crude oil production rose by 8.5% on last year. Natural gas output increased by 3.3%.
According to the Minister, at the same time coal extraction fell which can be partially accounted for by the sales problem. Mr Yusupov said that activities were under way to expand the streams of transport, port infrastructures and to search for new markets in order to improve the situation.
