The Indian Prime Minister expressed his condolences to the families of those who had been killed during the terrorist attack, saying that the tough position taken by the Russian authorities and their prompt response resulted in saving the lives of hundreds of hostages.
During the conversation the two heads of state agreed that operations by terrorists located in different parts of the world were being coordinated and required a comprehensive response from the international community.
