Dmitry Medvedev signed a Federal Law “On the ratification of the Convention between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of income tax evasion.”

The Convention between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Federative Republic of Brazil for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of income tax evasion was signed in Brasilia on 22 November 2004.

The Federal Law was adopted by the State Duma on 24 December 2008 and approved by the Federation Council on 29 December 2008.
