Mr Putin thanked Mr Kuchma for the moral support he provided during the hostage crisis at the Dubrovka Theatre Centre on October 23–26. In connection with this, the President said any attempts to justify some manifestations of terrorism could lead to the disintegration of the international counter-terrorist coalition and put an end to the fight against terrorism.
