Mr Putin said in his address that the two countries shared the vision of key global political issues. Russia and India together were opposing international terrorism and its challenge to civilisation. As he stressed, the many years’ Russian-Indian friendship had never been tarnished by disputes or conflicts.
Both countries were willing to cooperate in protecting human rights, promoting global and regional stability and sustainable development, and creating new opportunities for military trade and economic cooperation.
The official dinner completed the Russian President’s visit to India.
