Opening the gala ceremony, Vladimir Putin stressed that the Russia-Kazakhstan partnership should be further enriched with new ideas and initiatives. There are solid foundations and objective economic and geopolitical prerequisites for Russia’s long-term cooperation with Kazakhstan, the Russian President said. There are guarantees and confidence that all this will promote integration processes in the CIS and EurAsEC.
The Year of Kazakhstan in Russia will offer interesting information projects, conferences, businessmen’s meetings and public forums. Mr Putin expressed certainty that the two countries’ sincere and trust-based interaction at the state level would be supported by the public at large and give a powerful impetus to cooperation between businessmen, cultural workers and scientists.
A concert of Kazakh artists took place on the new stage of the Bolshoi Theatre to celebrate the Year of Kazakhstan in Russia.
