Mr Rushailo and Mr Yastrzhembsky delivered Mr Putin a message from several deputies of the former Chechen parliament. The deputies supported the upcoming referendum in Chechnya on the draft constitution and parliamentary and presidential elections laws, and proposed a pardon of members of military units who did not commit felonies. The referendum will take place on March 23.
