The Government received the order to establish the organising committee of the Year of People with Disabilities in Russia and approve a list of relevant events.
On December 3, 2003, the International Day of People with Disabilities, the President will meet in the Kremlin with spokespersons of public organisations of people with disabilities and scientists and specialists who work in that field.
The decree recommended that regional executive bodies organise relevant events for the Year of Persons with Disabilities.
