The Ukrainian President expressed his condolences in connection with the barbaric terrorist act perpetrated in the Chechen Republic.
Vladimir Putin thanked him for the expression of sympathy noting that the fact that the overwhelming majority of the members of the international community condemned the terrorist actions in Chechnya confirmed the world’s determination to fight the terrorist threat together.
The two heads of state discussed aspects of implementing the agreements reached at the recent Russian-Ukrainian summit in Yalta.
