President Putin praised the current state and future of mutually beneficial Russian-Moroccan cooperation. Mr Putin stressed that the Moroccan King’s visit to Moscow in October 2002 had become a landmark event in this respect. A declaration on bilateral strategic partnership was signed during that visit.

President Putin said the developing work of the bilateral inter-governmental commission for economic, and scientific and technical cooperation was a key aspect of expanded Russian-Moroccan relations.
