A joint declaration was passed which strengthens fundamentally important guidelines for further development of multi-faceted strategic partnership of Russia and the European Union.
In the section of the joint declaration entitled “A single Europe for all Europeans”, agreement Russia and the EU agree to discuss conditions for visa-free travel in the long-term outlook.
For further improvement of cooperation mechanisms, a decision was passed to establish a permanent Partnership Council.
