The authority of the nation on the international scene is not achieved only by economic growth, but thanks to the achievements of the country in culture and art, the President said as he greeted the winners.

The award of the state prizes is timed for Russia Day. “Any success or breakthrough of our country is the result of work by its citizens. And so today, on the eve of Russia Day, by tradition we honour those who work for the authority of the country, who bring it fame and recognition throughout the world,” said Vladimir Putin.
