The President said the Government had sent a bill to the State Duma allocating 14 billion roubles in compensation to the citizens of Chechnya who have lost their houses.
Under the same document, additional money will be directed to address a number of important tasks: 2.8 billion roubles to strengthen the state border, notably in the Caucasus, 3 billion to strengthen the fight against terror and 5.5 billion for the renovation of the engineering infrastructure.
The President expressed the hope that Parliament would pass the bill promptly.
