During the meeting with Vladimir Yegorov, Governor of the Kaliningrad Region, and Valentina Matviyenko, Presidential Envoy to the Northwestern Federal District, the development of the transport infrastructure in Kaliningrad and the region was discussed.
President Putin held an unscheduled meeting on energy transit and supply in the region. Valentina Matviyenko, her deputy Andrei Stepanov, Vladimir Yegorov, Alexander Abramov, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Razov and Special Presidential Envoy to the Kaliningrad Region Dmitry Rogozin attended the meeting. The participants also touched on passenger and freight transport and some other issues.
