Following the discussion of the results of the first meeting of the Russian-Turkmen commission on citizenship issues which ended its work in Ashkhabad yesterday, the Russian President noted the significance of the protocol signed upon the outcome of the meeting in which Turkmenistan stated that the rights and interests of Russian citizens living in Turkmenistan would be observed in full.
The conversation was held on Turkmenistan’s initiative.
