President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko

The heads of state discussed the issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, as well as drafting an agreement on introducing the Russian rouble as a single currency, blueprints for a Constitutional Act of the Union State, and other bilateral issues.

Mr Putin and Mr Lukashenko agreed to continue exchanging opinions on issues relevant to Russian-Belarusian cooperation at a private meeting, which was to be scheduled additionally.
