The President announced this during a meeting with veterans of the Great Patriotic War who took part in the battle of Kursk.
In the President’s opinion, revenue from the Pension fund will make it possible to solve this issue. The difference in pensions for those who fought in the front line and those who worked on the home front should not be significant, Vladimir Putin said. If the State Duma passes such a decision, the Government will be able to provide financing for it, the President announced.
The President also said that people over 80 would receive an addition to their pension. Vladimir Putin promised that this age level would be reduced.
