Silvio Berlusconi came up with the initiative to organize a joint foundation to support youth exchanges. Vladimir Putin considers this initiative to be very important.

The President thanked the Italian Prime Minister for his sincere position, which although it seems at first glance to be premature, is “very correct”. It fundamentally establishes the vector of development of relations between Russia and Europe.

Vladimir Putin noted that it was necessary to act stage by stage, carefully, without rushing ahead. Currently this only concerns the possibility of simplifying visa procedures for students, scholars, representatives of business and administration, and perhaps several invalid organizations.
