At talks in a small group, which was subsequently expanded, issues were discussed of increasing trade and economic cooperation, the President’s initiative for Russia to join the Organisation of Islamic Conference, problems of the war on international terrorism, the post-war reconstruction of Iraq and the regulation process in the Middle-East.

At the Kremlin, in the presence of President Vladimir Putin and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Abdullah, a number of documents were signed on cooperation in the oil and gas sphere, and in the area of science, trade and sport.
