The message said, in part:

“The people of Armenia have made the firm choice of building a constitutional and democratic state. Today they have the right to be proud of the success they have achieved.

“Russia highly praises the traditions of friendship and trust, which have stood the test of time. I am confident the broadening of the multi-faceted and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries will further promote the Russian-Armenian strategic partnership and stability in the Caucasus.”
