The budget is one of the most important tools in integration of the two countries. It is important for it to be formed effectively, and that it is adequate for current and long-term tasks, the Russian President noted. In connection with this, it is necessary to set clearer parameters for the budget process for 2004.
Additionally, at the meeting it is necessary to analyze the effectiveness of implementing programs on coordinated actions in the area of foreign policy. It is Vladimir Putin’s opinion that there are positive results in this sphere, but also a considerable number of unrealized possibilities and reserves.
