Mr Putin thanked the Malaysian leader for inviting him to take part in the summit of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
In Mr Putin’s opinion, Russia’s participation in the forum benefited both bilateral and multilateral relations between Russia and the OIC member states. The President also noted the personal contribution made by Mahathir Mohamad to organizing the work of the forum attended by more than 50 countries.
