President Vladimir Putin received the credentials of newly appointed ambassadors to Russia

November 20, 2003, The Kremlin, Moscow

Mr Putin said during the ceremony that the recent tragedy in Turkey had proved once again that international terrorist activity was not subsiding. He said he was sure that the ambassadors’ work would honourably contribute to the coordination of international efforts against the latest threats and challenges.

The newly appointed ambassadors of seven countries—Martin Vukovic of Austria, Jean Cadet of France, Carlos Augusto Rego Santos Neves of Brazil, Abdulhameed Ali Hasan Ali of Bahrain, Emmanuel Tungamwese of Burundi, Mohamed Mahmoud Uld Dahi of Mauritania and Ernesto Villarica Llamas of the Philippines—presented their credentials to the President.
