Explosions caused by Islamic terrorists in front of the buildings of the British General Consulate and the HSBC bank killed 27 and injured more than 450. British Consul General Roger Short was among the casualties.

Mr Putin said in his message that the bombings were “heinous crimes and yet more tragic evidence of the necessity to further consolidate our efforts against international terrorism.”
