The President thanked all deputies for the effective and professional activity of parliament, and for its contribution to creating an atmosphere of stability which the country needs so much.

Vladimir Putin stressed that the work of deputies served to create more favourable conditions for the development of economic freedoms, for managing property, and for an entire range of civil, criminal and procedural norms.

In the President’s opinion, the State Duma was not able to overcome the lack of system and chaos in the legislative process. Executive power is also to blame here, as it did not present the necessary projects on time, and reacted to deputies’ remarks unclearly. The newly elected State Duma should take this into account, President Vladimir Putin stressed.
