Mr Putin and Mr Nazarbayev learnt about the life of modern Kazakhstan, and its historical and cultural objects. They also went to the museum of gold and precious metals.
After the tour, the Presidents talked to people involved in culture, science and education in Kazakhstan. Mr Putin asked about the Russian Drama Theater in Kazakhstan and its contacts with Russian theaters.
Mr Putin also signed the guestbook.
