President Putin said he was satisfied with the expanded multi-faceted bilateral cooperation, stressing that Russia was interested in preserving the pace of such cooperation and invigorating joint efforts to expand Russian-Yemeni ties in various spheres.

President Putin noted similar or coinciding positions on key international issues and this facilitated expanded bilateral cooperation on the international scene. Mr Putin also stressed that Russia viewed Yemen as an important and reliable partner, and that Moscow was ready to expand bilateral cooperation in all spheres of mutual interest.
