Mr Putin said that the main questions regarding the consortium have now been settled.
Western European countries are now also becoming involved in the GTC’s work and a trilateral meeting between Russia, Ukraine and Germany on the GTC is scheduled to take place in early February.
The President noted that the consortium is of great significance and said that Russia and Ukraine are ready to cooperate in this area and take each other’s interests into account.
