The President instructed the Government, together with the future Prime Minister, to complete preparations for the administrative reform within the shortest possible period of time and to implement plans aimed at developing the infrastructure in the Far East and Siberia. He also instructed the Government to set up a commission to reveal the causes of some failures during recent military exercises.

Apart from this, Mr Putin instructed the agencies concerned to carry out other military exercises in order to make sure that the previous issues had been rectified.
