President Vladimir Putin met with Chairman of the Central Election Commission Alexander Veshnyakov

After the Central Election Commission examined the documents of all election commissions in the Russian regions, as well as 353 polling stations outside of Russia, it declared the presidential elections valid, Mr Veshnyakov said.

According to the results of the election, President Putin won his second term, he said.

Mr Veshnyakov presented the election results to the President.
