President Vladimir Putin made new appointments in the Presidential Executive Office

Dmitry Medvedev was appointed Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office.

Vladislav Surkov was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, Aide to the President.

Igor Sechin was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, Aide to the President.

Alexander Abramov was appointed Aide to the President.

Larisa Brycheva was appointed Aide to the President, head of the Presidential State Legal Directorate.

Djahan Pollyeva was appointed Aide to the President.

Sergei Prikhodko was appointed Aide to the President.

Igor Shuvalov was appointed Aide to the President.

Viktor Ivanov was appointed Aide to the President.

Alexei Gromov was appointed Press Attache for the President.

Igor Shchegolev was appointed Chief of the Presidential Protocol.

Other appointments were as follows:

Georgy Poltavchenko was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Central Federal District.

Sergei Kiriyenko was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Volga Federal District.

Vladimir Yakovlev was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Southern Federal District.

Pyotr Latyshev was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Urals Federal District.

Leonid Drachevsky was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District.

Ilya Klebanov was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North-Western Federal District.

Konstantin Pulikovsky was appointed Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District.
