I was saddened to learn about a major disaster at the Ryongchon Railway Station which claimed many human lives and caused heavy damage. We share the grief of the families of those who died and all the people of the DPRK.

“Please convey deep my condolences to the friends and loved ones of the victims of the tragedy and sincere sympathy to all those who have suffered”.

As reported earlier, the Russian Government is working on practical issues of bringing emergency relief to the DPRK through the Ministry for Emergency Situations.
