The Agreement, signed on April 10, 2001, regulates the issues of legal protection of rocket and space goods and technologies as well as security-related goods and technologies, mutual claims for inadvertent damage, protection of intellectual property rights, benefits in the payment of customs duties when moving goods across the borders of Russia and Germany. The agreement provides the necessary conditions for effective implementation of joint projects in the exploration and peaceful use of outer space and meets the interests and real needs of the Russian space industry.
