The Agreement, signed on February 11, 2003 is comprehensive and contains provisions regulating the legal protection of rocket and space goods and technologies, as well as security-related goods and technologies, protection of intellectual property rights, the procedure for resolving disputes between the parties as well as issues of liability and damage compensation. The Agreement provides the necessary conditions for effective implementation of joint Russian-European projects in the exploration and peaceful use of outer space and meets the interests and real needs of the Russian space industry.
