The Russian President warmly thanked Atal Bihari Vajpayee for many years of constructive cooperation and for the contribution the former Indian Prime Minister had made to the relations of strategic partnership between the two countries.
Both sides expressed confidence that the partnership between Russia and India is the natural choice of their peoples and that the relations would develop progressively in the spirit of continuity.
